Lauren Locklear is a Researcher and Assistant Professor of Management at Texas Tech University in the Rawls College of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Central Florida. Her research focuses on interpersonal relationships, emotions, workplace mistreatment, and workplace norms. Specifically, Lauren researches the role of gratitude and appreciation in interpersonal relationships at work, and has published her work in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan Management Review. Her research has been featured in media outlets such as Psychology Today, Forbes, CNBC, Inc., Yahoo News, and U.S. News & World Report. She was a 2021 Fellow of the Project for Ethical Leadership Excellence and was the recipient of the 2023 TTU Rawls College of Business Carl & Linda Stem Distinguished Faculty Research Award.
